It promises to be a lively panel!"

  • and Steve Hewlett chairs the panel with Chris Bryant MP, former BBC Trustee Richard Tait and media analyst Dr Alice Enders.

"The VLV is pleased", said Colin Browne, "to have assembled such an impressive range of speakers. We are looking forward to a very successful conference."

Additionally  the  VLV’s Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting 2014 will be presented by James Naughtie, who of course has been an award winner himself.  In addition to the television and radio awards there is a special award for someone who has made a major contribution to public service broadcasting over many years.
