Andrew Board – VLV Trustee

Andrew grew up in South Wales before going to University College London where he read economics. He has been a member of VLV since the 1990’s, became a Life member in 2015 and was a VLV Trustee in 2016/17. He worked for BT for 32 years in the IT, Networks and Global Services parts of the business and was a member of the BT Wales Board for 6 years until he retired in 2015. Andrew is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and was the Chairman of RSA Wales Cymru from 2012-2014. He was a member of the Ofcom Advisory Committee for Wales from 2017 to 2020 and a member of Glas Cymru, the holding Company for (Not-for-profit) Welsh Water from 2010-2019. Andrew takes an active interest in the social, economic and educational development of Wales and how it is portrayed in PSM.
